Zoom was always a mysterious one, she was one day just.... dropped off here. At that time, she was already 9 months old, so why couldn't she tell us anything? We've made contact with her dragonets, but they themselves couldn't understand anything, let alone the ones we couldn't reach that were exalted to the gods. For the first few days, Zoom was quiet. She didn't do anything. She didn't like her mate. She only read a lot of books...

It's been a month. Zoom has started to warm up to us, especially her mate. She's still closed off however, nose in the scrolls. We hear her humming towards Balavari every now and then, and he hums back. She doesn't speak to the other coatls, but does make guestures towards them. We still don't know a lot about her and her past, but despite her silence everyone seems to have fallen for her. Even the leader. However, Zoom starts to vanish more and more, Balavari suggested that she must've gone into the forest, but we'll never know. How can Zoom even travel that far by herself?

A year in and Zoom has started talking a little. She speaks in riddles, understandable riddles yet confusing. Today Caraxes was sent on a mission to the mire. At this time, Zoom vanished for a long time and she didn't come back. Caraxes wouldn't be able to make the trip back to find Zoom. Almost a week later, Zoom returned. With Caraxes. Everyone was in uproar, Caraxes was beaten to an extent that he couldn't move. They were shocked to see their leader like that. In front of everyone, Zoom healed Caraxes. To the very most. Those books she was reading- it turns out they were ancient spell books. Zoom had learned a lot, and she became a mage. Still, we don't know anything about her past. What really happened?

They don't know much about me. That doesn't matter, they don't need to know. It's better that they didn't... I came from somewhere else. Somewhere far and peacceful, in the tropics. No one there had an education- we just spent all day outside and were happy. We were always happy. Until they came. Forced to leave, we couldn't live outside our peaceful home. It was hard to communicate, we couldn't afford anything and here, there were no fish. I ended up being the only one to survive.

For EIGHT months, I was to feed off of wild plants, small insects, and dead animals. On the verge of death, I was given a home. I was cared for a loved, even became a favourite. My days of starvation were over. The once peaceful home I had, was now turned into a war place. The forbidden portal. There was no way I could ever return, even if I wanted to. I wasn't strong enough. I scavenged a lot of books in my time alone, and read as much as I could. I worked on my mind, soon enough I lit the flame and cast a spell.

It was so sudden and it hurt. I woke up to find myself somewhere unfamilar and different. It was cold. I didn't like it. My talons shiver, feathers fading in color, and mind broken. I attempted to cast a spell but it was useless. It was like... My world just froze. I ended up sheltering in a lair nearby, and shocked at my frozen magic I couldn't say anything. Hurt by my last owner, I didn't want to talk to anyone afraid my heart would be broken again. But there was him. Balavari. He understood me, and so I talked to him. He knew my interests, and brought me books. Getting used to the cold, I mustered enough strength and set out into the forest. If I have no magic, then there's no point to life. Caraxes must know how to be strong, I have to follow him.
