Biography
Thalias is often viewed by his friends as eccentric, though well-meaning. He accepts this with open arms, saying that he views it as a compliment, for eccentric is just what he wants to be. Never one for pretending to be something you're not, Thalias' personality can be a little overwhelming for those who don't know him, but those who do recognise that he's simply upbeat and excitable.
He has rather a soft spot for antiques and collectibles, especially shiny items like jewellry, mirrors, and for some odd reason, cutlery. He also quite likes sharp objects, such as shards of pottery and pocket knives. Nobody is quite sure why, or where this obsession came from. With a slight frown, most dragons seem to acknowledge that despite his sometimes erratic behaviour, Thalias has never really shown any malicious intent.
His job as a merchant and salesman is one Thalias thoroughly enjoys. He will spend many a happy afternoon hanging around the trading post or the auction house, selling, swapping and buying little bits and bobs, often quite luxurious or valuable items. While some say his obsession with collecting must be bad for him and that surely one day he'll run out of treasure and gems after his many impulse buys. Still, Thalias assures them that he is completely aware of his actions and makes sure to sell enough of his collected items that he doesn't run out of currency.
A patient observer may notice that Thalias tends to never really keep an object (unless particularly shiny or sharp) but rather he buys, inspects and keeps for a while, then sells on the item.
His actions appear random, and there is still no explanation for Thalias' strange method of business, but he seems happy and so most dragons simply leave him to carry on with his eccentric ways.

Gold and treasure fill his mind,
A hoarder some might say.
Buying every strange antique,
That happens across his way.
Each day is filled with impulse,
When the shinies catch his eye.
Oh, and it's all over,
When the jewels come out tonight.
A swap, a trade, a switch, a sale,
All in a simple day's work.
In the bustling trading post,
This eager merchant lurks.
If the pin of a brooch should catch his fancy,
If a single antique should catch his eye,
Well then it's all over for everyone else,
For Thalias stops at nothing to buy.
