Unconscionable
Does the wrong things for the right reasons
The kinda dragon who may - in order to raise funds for a 9yo unbred XYX G1 birthday dragon - swindle you with a stack of red goo on the AH for 7000G then say its your own fault for not filtering by stack size when buying the cheapest treasure listings

As a hatchling he had suffered from the torments of others around him:
"Your colors are [belitlling adjective]"
"dirty clay,"
"tarnished oily mess."
were just some of the insults thrown his way on an almost daily basis

But just like his name he slid from this state and slyly grew and profited from it. He saw how their perception could cloud their vision of an item or subject and the potential it held, and perhaps unconsciously, their perceived value of it.

Clay items he procured were renamed 'Earthen', tarnished metals renamed 'patinaed' and both were resold at a profit.
Like an oilslick, soon he had much much more than he needed in the persuasion department to grease the wheels of bureaucracy and smoothly carry each next project approval by it's relevant overseers.

Slibithy

Slibithy is the one putting those hefty price hikes on new items, he has a contingent of snipers at his service and a multitude of offshore lairs to launder his earnings through. These lairs prosper and so does he and so far the world keeps turning.

He is quite possibly the patreon of Regal's Lair but so far no concrete links have been established. He does however have all the networks to keep research funds pouring in to Regal's Lab.
Regal probably wouldn't know, it seems his mind is in another creative universe completely. Who can tell how a lightning primal sees the world? Some say they see in energy... but what does that really mean?!?

He's been encouraged to lay boobytraps in the AH - apparently a great way to fundraise large amounts of gems. He hasn't quite stooped that low though. But when you need 100kG for a 5 digit birthday dragon and you can list a stack of red goo for 7kG so an unwary shopper clicks it by mistake when buying cheap treasure listings - well that is the most lucrative deal he's seen yet!!!

I call it a 6kG gift to someone's birthday dragon mission
If I was 65kG deep into a payment plan (presuming that plan risked losing the entire 65kG if I missed a payment) I likely wouldn't return someone's AH mistake either. At least not until I had paid off he plan!
Please cover up with some neck apparel!!! Capsule is a nice belly but yuck every where else
