Biography
While she may appear like Naomi she is but an impersonator, one who pretends to be naomi herself. She is egotistical, and loves the praise and admiration she gains from it. She knows it's not true, she just enjoys the riches that comes with the resemblance, and plays on it whenever she can.
She found a strange spiral one day. One who was identical to her in every way, and one who reeked of pure power, similar to that of who she pretend to be. A perfect candidate for a mate, with a little convincing of course.
She trained him, taught him her ways, and soon her ideals shown through. The first of 2 traits appeared, Veins as dark as the abyss cracked his skin, a sign that her corruption had begun. They pulsed with the pure power the spiral held, yet contained it all at once. The second and final trait showed later on, as the corruption wormed its way into every part of his being, his sclera's turned black, linking with the veins perfectly. The corruption complete, and the perfect gaurd to protect her from those who try to deter her.
Unknown to her, her gaurd had a nest previous to meeting omani, A young spiral from the clutch had come to visit, to seek out his father and follow in his footsteps. The child reaked of the same power his father had, and a strange connection sparked between him and omani. She moved quickly, training him and corrupting him the same way she had done to his father, and soon, the perfect mate was created.
Regardless if they create hatchlings or not, Omani has taken a liking to her spiral companion, and will fiercely defend him from anyone who wishes to steal him from her.
Onami is the keeper of my naomi lore. Eventually it will be finished, but for now there will just be dot points and snippets of ideas for the lore of the glitches in my lair XD
Naomi
Naomi is a strange creature. Gone before her eggs could hatch, and already immortalised in sorienths history for a feat no dragon had seen coming. Her legend is spread across the entire land, but her story is not as crazy as everyone makes it seem.
Born during the start, Naomi was a normal dragoness. No godlike powers, no control of the dead. She was just a simple dragon trying to make her way through life. But, something changed one strange evening.
Every day she'd talk to her neighbours, talk to dragons in the market, talked to the beast clans who wondered in to trade. Every day shed smile and treat them with friendship. every day, she'd be asked who she was talking to. At first she took no notice, ignored the comments as every day more dragons asked who she was talking to. But the more it happened, the more she begun to wonder if maybe she was imagining the creatures she was talking to. As the time progressed, it became clear that many of the dragons she talked to, and beast clan members for that matter, weren't physically there. As days, weeks, months passed, She learned that these were creatures who had passed away, and that they were lost. She learnt that for some reason, she could talk to them. She learnt that nobody else could see them, hear them, sense them. It was just her.
Eventually she moved away, and took those who passed over with her. Forming a new clan with the lost ones. And soon, many took notice. Her days of greeting others, congratulating them on their sales, checking on on dragons days, eventually came to an end. Rumours spread of a dragon with an army of the dead. Rumours of an uprising had been spread around. None of it true, but regardless it spread like wildfire. During this time she found a mate and was expecting a nest of youngsters. It was not easy making sure they survived while avoiding the gazes of the living. And soon, she moved. Far away from the life she used to have, but before they could reach they're new home, the clan disappeared. Never to be seen again. Her nest hatched several days later, only 1 survived, while the rest moved on to the other side.
To this day nobody knows what happened, but the rumours never died. In fact they only grew, and now this once normal dragoness has become a legend akin to the gods.
