Sere is generally a kind dragon, but few of her clan view her as coldhearted, since she has no problem exalting the young to the Windsinger. Some say her dedication to her aligned God borders on the fanatical, but she will be quick to disagree; She says it's to help further the balance of the Gods and the dragons on Sornieth, a task she takes very seriously. As quick as she is to exalt her and Arc's own children, and suggesting it every time to the other mothers in the clan, always making them pick at least one child to give up to Wind-Dad, she's just as quick to keep found orphans. Ibai, Kief, Solstice, Ania and Adjia have all been hand raised by her and her husband, Arc, and the thought of exalting the orphans was never in her mind. Apart from her obsession with the noodlefather, Sere is as her name states, quite the serene dragon. She enjoys simply lounging on one of the many floating parts of their lair in the twisting crescendo, letting the calming winds blow through her mane and munching on fried insects, the clan's favourite snack. When she's not exalting other dragons, she's actually a very calm dragon. She spends most of her time drawing, using colored rocks to grind up and make her own paints. Not only will she paint on canvases, but she will also find scale-friendly dyes and paint her friends, her children, and to his dismay, quite often she paints all over Arc, as well. It's her true passion besides helping the Windsinger. While she can be intense and hard to handle around exalt time, she's a good matriarch, always keeping the whole clan and it's future in mind. |
