meaning 'the good earth'

Ever since the earth was uncovered, the tombs ring empty with the cries of the forgotten.

Dormant sands
So long they have lain undisturbed
Centuries surely
if not longer
The sands know
but they tell no such secrets to our ears

And now?
Gaze upon the destruction wrought
by claws unknowing
Feel the ground stir
like the breathing of some great beast

It has a name, the behemoth below
A name only the sands know
But they tell no such secrets
to our ears

The forgotten leviathan
The forsaken colossus
Sealed in a tomb of sand and rock

Approaching now
Awakening

Screeching

Its head breaches the sand, a monstrosity unleashed
Forgotten once
but never again.

She existed from before the Pillar broke, when all had 11 strand DNA,
before the split into 11 separate Elements and evolution of these modern breeds.

Born as a primal Gaoler, her obsession for getting deeper and deeper beneath the Southern Fortress left her trapped for aeons.
Shortly after the banescale catastrophe she reemerged in these modern times during an archaeological excavation,
reanimating her fossil remains and the rock* they were embedded in,
her wings bearing witness to the ripples of riverbeds and shifting desert sands that passed during her entombment.

She was alive again!
With less than her 11 strands sure,
but with an even stronger primal connection to the Earth,
within which her spirit had been trapped for what felt like all time itself.
