Like her wife Celaeno, she has a unique cadence of speech. Her words come in sing-song rhyme. Although she uses her voice, both outsiders and her own clanmates find speaking to the two a rather frustrating experience.

She considers her pearl a separate entity, and thus refers to herself in the plural.
