Biography

[the basics]
Others think she's lazy. They think she's not fit to be a sorceress, with all of her childish tricks. But Kisai is not lazy, or incompetent, or unfit, or any of those things others call her: she's simply different. It was not so apparent in her youth, but is much more noticeable now. The unfortunate part is that ancient scriptures and texts have never stuck with her as easily as new ideas do. They only bore her and make her mind go numb. She has no interest in the stuffy old tomes or careful studying when she could be inventing new pranks and testing out her ideas instead.

Callisto is the only one who understands, the only one who doesn't scoff at her, instead helping her as much as they can. The two will tell each other stories or secret findings, late at night in Callisto's observatory, sometimes swapping books to compare.

Her playful nature aside, Kisai is a studious dragon when she wants to be; that is, when something has captured her interest. The issue is not in her mind but in the material instead, for if she has no interest, she cannot focus on it. Callisto knows and so they help, finding her things that are interesting and new, and Kisai has had much more success this way.
