This is why the energetic mediator had made it her life goal to find a way of purifying the Pox Consulate from the toxins that concentrate in the soil. Many members of the community had attempted to find ways for the community to heal after the broken armistice, but Nausicaa had been the first to also take an environmentalist approach into consideration. As part of her research, she had closely analysed the soil, the water, the spores, and the local flora. While many dragons had argued that it would probably be for the best to burn the toxic forest down, Nausicaa's findings would actually end up suggesting otherwise: the trees, drawing clean water from the groundwater table, are actually very well capable of absorbing all of the toxins in the soil over time. The process of healing can be a long one, but Mother Nature will always find a way. Similarly, by retaliating against the Plague flight like Eren would, societal toxicity would only keep spreading, too.
