According to Eren, all Nature-type dragons, regardless of breed, are subjects of the great Behemoth tree. They are a hive mind, as they converge at one and the same stem, akin to the tree's roots. The Gladekeeper, the peaceful founder, had once bestowed the First Seed upon her subjects, simultaneously functioning as a spear and a shield for peace. Wildclaw society is about strength and hunting capability, hence considering the pacifist ways of The Gladekeeper and Liefa unfit. When the armistice was broken by the Plague flight, the latter had stopped the First Seed's destructive proliferation of hyperflora. Eren, however, swore that, should any flight ever attack them again, he would try to usurp the power of the First Seed, now fused with Liefa. The rumbling of the spreading roots and vines would, then, be heard and felt all across Sornieth. The Machiavellian Usurper roams the beaches of the Isle of Summer, gazing at the horizon... behind the ocean... waiting.
