Onyx has little care to offer for others. He doesn't feel warmth towards almost anyone, his heart is cold and gone. He has a mate and some friends, he cares about them in his own way. But it's not the same warm feeling other dragons experience.

Before his kind emerged on Sornieth once more, he was imprisoned in the ice alongside his mate Howlite. They were traitors to their own kind, or that is what it was said. It's unclear what they did, and now it is a thing in the past.

But the unforgiving cold turned Onyx cold as well, his insides are made out of ice. Shards of ice grow from his body, coating him in a living armour.

This ice, however, isn't eternal. Onyx needs to keep himself cold for it not to melt. That is why he guards the Keep, the dark and deep dungeons of the fortress.

Finally living the life his kind was meant to live.

But it is so cold.
