Biography
*Heads up: Starless is the mate of Sahara.*
—————
Starless swiped a tongue over one of her scratches, wincing. She, Sahara, and WindCutter always went out to the coliseum. To the three dragons, that place was basically their home— they trained there, they collected food there, they earned money there.
It was just so much effort being the healer of the group. The fae dragon felt sad at the fact that while Sahara and WindCutter were getting beat up, all she could do was hover in the air and try to avoid getting hit.
A mreoow shook the dragoness out of her thoughts. When she looked down, she saw her familiar; Nox, her lynx, was sitting neatly near her haunches. A pink tongue stuck out from the jaws of the feline.
A quiet, weak laugh escaped Starless as she gently pat the familiar on the head. Nox loved to collect coins for her, and in return, she gave it affection.
Silence passed by for a while until Starless heard something from the distance. Strong wings flapped rhythmically as a sandy yellow and blue guardian dropped from the sky. In the dragon's jaws were a bag full of insects— severed mith legs, silverfish, and more. The midnight dragon heard her stomach rumble at the mouthwatering thought of being able to eat at these small creatures.
"Sahara," she cooed quietly, turning her head. Sahara was so much larger than her— compared to the fae dragon, the guardian was huge and foreboding.
To her, though, he was her mate.
"Starless," he greeted back kindly, dipping his large head. Dropping the bag of bugs near his mate, he sat down near her. "How are you feeling?"
The dragoness stretched out her huge wings, which were almost disproportionately big compared to her slender, long body. Blinking her purple eyes, she observed the scratches and bites covering them. "Healing. I'm basically practicing my magic."
A rumbling hum of laughter escaped the large male. "That's good, dear."
