What is a witch without her coven? Betelgeuse was raised among the witches of the Hecate, a coven founded in the Tangled Woods. While she was born with great innate potential, she was simultaneously cursed with misfortune and the inability to properly control her magic. After several accidents and the death of a close friend, she was banished from her coven and deemed too dangerous to train.

She formed an unlikely alliance with an outcasted alchemist and an apprentice mage. Together, they share the common goal of improving their magical abilities.

Betelgeuse often jokes and covers up any emotions with a carefree attitude, although deep down she fears her abilities and the disaster they’ve brought in the past.
