Biography

  • Kee was born blind which left her other senses highly sharpened
  • when she was little she went to a travelling zoo where she felt a strong energy that drew her to a caged bird
  • she freed it that night but was caught by the zoo's director who, unfortunately, was a very powerful & very angry wizard
  • the curse that was placed on her said that she would meet her end "when the clock strikes noon as night begins to fall"
  • ALSO turns out the cool bird she rescued? it's a holy creature!
  • it thanks her by allowing her to see through its eyes
  • they form a pact: the bird will help Kee figure out how to break the curse & in turn Kee will protect its life
  • determined they go off to search through every collection of knowledge there is which eventually brought them to Khell
  • while she searches the Library for more information Kee resides in & maintains the city's clocktower
