Cold, yet polite, Robin might surprise the average citizen with how gregarious she seems. The Drow still holds some traits typical of her race: ruthlessness, deception, a penchant for the shadows. But her willingness to help allies pulls her away from true evil, and although she finds it difficult, helping the less fortunate and protecting the innocent are things she's beginning to see the advantage of. Her patience is thin, however. Cross her, harm those she considers friends, or stand between herself and a goal she has decided is important, and one might just awake to a dagger in their back. In combat, the elf stays back as much as she can, relying on stealth and her bow to defeat foes at a distance. Close the gap and she becomes an easy target: her element is in the shadows, not up close and personal, and her lack of protective armor becomes a hindrance at such close range. Still, in a pinch, Robin does have one trick up her sleeve: lycanthropy. Her werewolf form proves deadly when she's cornered, and while she has trouble controlling her inner beast, she finds it preferable to being killed.

HISTORY Robin hails from the Underdark, a cold, unforgiving maze of caverns, filled with evil and corruption. Her family reflected this land quite well, and although they rejected her at first, they raised her with the same ruthlessness that Drow are known for once she gained their favor. Which is how she came to flee the Underdark and find her way to the surface: tired of kowtowing to her mother, Robin skipped the usual process and tried to murder her mother directly. She failed, of course, and escaped with her life, the clothes on her back, and a custom rapier that belonged to her mother. Nothing else. Her adventures took her to Barovia, where she eventually became afflicted with lycanthropy--a parting gift by one of Strahd's minions. She refuses to return to the land, and refuses to explain why or what happened; any mention of her companions brings an unusual stillness in the Drow, as if she couldn't decide if she wanted to cry or kill you to silence the line of questioning.

TRIVIA "Zilvaervil Godegar" = Forgotten Blood Waste, Clan of the Uknown. Don't call her by this name if you value your life: any who would know it are her enemies, and she has no desire to face her family until she's ready to exact revenge. - Calls herself Robin. If pressed for a last name, Robin Steele. Does not understand the irony of the name. - Astronomy enthusiast. Wants to go to space, capture a star, and bring it back. Hasn't found accurate information about the stars since her adventures began. - Arrogant outside of battle, but will listen to friends and takes their advice seriously. - Terrified of spiders, scorpions, and other insects. |
