Hrefna takes care of the clan’s seafood supply. Her duty is to tend to the fishery pools the clan has separated from a nearby stream flowing through the Reedcleft Ascent. Despite her origins in the Shadow flight, she likes her job near water. At least the cave in which the pools are located is pleasantly shadowy, just like is good for the fish.

Hrefna definitely isn't the calmest dragon in the lair. She’s a bold lass with a short-ish temper who isn't afraid to state her opinions no matter how petty or conflicting they may be. She enjoys dark humor and making snarky comments, but others should take care not to snark back at her, unless they are mentally prepared to engage in a serious, master level duel of witty comebacks. And Hrefna never loses a duel of witty comebacks — although it is debatable whether comments in Coatl should actually count in a duel where the opponent can't understand any, but Hrefna keeps slipping them in regardless. She speaks Common with a thick but understandable accent, but often reverts back to her native tongue when extremely excited or agitated.
