Born within the clan, Rigel has always been of an artistic nature. Though he is a poet in his free time, his role within the clan is to assist his parents, the current loremasters, in the recording of the clans' history.
He has a great interest in trinkets from distant lands and often uses his way with words to convince Mars of the benefit such items could have for the clan when the latter is considering the wares of merchants.

Rigel is often fond of telling his boyfriend Jasper that, while science and alchemy can explain how it is that life exists, it is art and culture which make life meaningful and worth living.
