The charismatic, leadership focused, second-‘n- command of the Water Flight mercenary Guild Captain Wondrous at your service! Instead of the typical dragon hoard of gold or treasure, Captain Wondrous hoards children. Any hatchling who has any reason to leave their flight and family ends up at her door. Though feared for her violent day job, she is revered for her genuine affection for the dragons under her care.

Captain Wonderous leers over her fallen enemy, a smile stuck on her face.

“Didn’t think this was where you’d end up, ey champ?” she says.

Her claws dance over the other dragon’s throat. They weakly snarl, fruitlessly wriggling around underneath her grasp. Warm blood pools beneath the poor soul. She almost feels bad.
Almost.

The Captain shrugs, "Ah, well. Is what it is. All in a day's work,”

Her claws sink into flesh with the full heaviness of her entire weight.

Later, after the skirmish is divisively won, Wonderous approaches the client to demand payment for her and her crew.
The client is a nervous, shifty thing. Their wings clutch to their sides fearfully. Poor lil guy can barely hold eye contact as they talk.

“Job’s done. Got kids to go home to, if you don’t mind bein’ swift,” she fiddles with the rusted red between her fingers.

They hurriedly hand over a chest full of gold, and scamper away as if their worried Wonderous would do something so unprofessional and vulgar as to harm a client without a really good reason. The audacity of such a thought!

By the time she swims home, Wonderous is clean of any indication that she did anything that day but harmless chores. Nobody back home particularly cares that her chores are certainly not harmless, though it does feel nice to be clean regardless.

The roarous pitter-patter of claws on stone surround her as the latest batch of fodder rescues and new hatchlings rush to the door to greet her. She cups her wings around the growing crowd with a beaming smile.
