Biography
This flight started out as a mere two dragons, sheltered in an alcove in the wandering contagion. Rubliss and Blight started making a home immediately after they found each other, scavenging for food and water. They made a nest out of random scraps of fabric and leaves, nursing their eggs until they hatched. Not much time passed before they started taking in travelers, doing their best to make them at home. Some only stayed a day or so, but others made their cave a permanent home. With so many dragons, they started to expand their humble cave, and started making plans to move. After a hasty clean up of their home, they moved next door to the crystalspine reaches. There they secured their home, carving ornate tunnels into glowing crystals and rocks. The cave expanded into a vast land of tunnels, lakes and sleeping dorms. The dragons were building something more than a home. They were building a culture.
Years came and went as the flight grew, celebrated, and thrived. Many dragons came and went, resting for a few weeks in the sheltered crystal tunnels. Then, a new rule jarred them all. During the first Starfall Celebration, Angara was born. She hatched on the first day of the holiday, practically shining with beauty. However, she could not find a suitable mate. All of the other dragons liked her for what she was on the outside, but only one loved her for what she was on the inside. Angara took Zeal as her mate and had a clutch of eggs hatch on the first day of Rockbreakers Ceremony. Angara made a rule that the firstborn of every of her offspring would hatch on a holiday, and each of the lineage would only breed once. And so it was said. But Miststone, her firstborn son, didn’t like this rule. However, he obeyed, and on the first day of Mistral Jamboree he hatched three dragons. However, he loved them all equally, and Angara gave in and let him have them all in the lineage. It’s a bit hard to say everything turned out well. Angara’s parents bred and gave birth to Mistletoe, breaking the rule and starting a new lineage. Mistletoe was the stranger in the flight, the outcast. But he wanted a family, friends, and a supporting flight. He soon got all of that when his hatchlings came. They joined the lineage, but kicked Miststone’s hatchlings out. Soon, Mistletoe’s lineage started to rule the others, and the new bloodline was made.
