Listen carefully, you’ll hear it. There is often a nervous tapping, a rapping upon ground and trees alike, that will pass through the Grove at odd (and off) hours of the night. With white, pupiless, eyes glinting in the moonlight, it’s hard to see the dim forest green color of Syncope between the boughs. Some think her a ghost. Fears should be quelled, though. She means no harm. She just works best at night. Syncope can often be found pacing in the oddest places at the oddest hours, deep in thought.

The Wildclaw paints herself with anti-hex charms and wears protective, blessed, vestments at all times. She does it to protect herself as much as the rest of the Grove’s occupants. Still, her constantly covered appearance has been known to scare the younger, and newer, members of the clan. Her quirky demeanor, too, does not help his case.

Dragons may seek Syncope for help in breaking both hexes and curses. Her work is incredibly experimental but often effective. If sought, the only payment she requires is one’s participation as she advances her research.
