Seventus et semundus alto emeriin tollo.
Nephele, ever the ethereal beauty, made her way from the lands of the Arcanist to the Windswept Plateau. A wandering witch, Nephele plied her trade to the Wind clans, offering healing salves and services to some of the rougher sort. After a time, she found Seso, the manic Spiral historian, and together, they joined their long-time companions, Aeryn and Mossmere, in founding their own clan, the Windguard. While Seso found the journey to the Plaguelands far too extreme for his tastes, Nephele, heartbroken, remained with her friends to start a new life in a darker place.
Often, Nephele can be found alone, huddled over a scrying bowl, gently blowing ripples into the water's surface. She is sometimes accompanied by Nideth, who is there more as an observer rather than a participant, and she will never say exactly what it is she is looking for. Nephele's nomad pack is full of herbs, furs, scales, and bones, and her many tools hang off it, clanging together as the group travels.
Nephele now finds comfort in Kalarin's companionship and interest in her work, with only her sons remaining with the clan.
