Biography

The son of one of the clan's foremost warriors, Spinel got very little from his father except a tendency to take things too seriously and brood over them. He was a Pearlcatcher, like his mother, who'd also named him - she was a jeweler, and she'd chosen to name Spinel and both his sisters after gems. She'd also chosen to move on, leaving him behind, even though he'd also inherited her desire to travel and had begged her to take him along. It took him some time to make up his mind to leave. He was close to his sister Topaz, if not his father, and while many travelers passed through their clan, he only knew of one who'd ever returned. But he finally said his goodbyes and left, taking only the necklace his mother had made him. Uh-oh, looks like this moody pearlcatcher wandered a little too far from his home lair (Lirillith, #149136), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him/her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. BoldEarth Clan It had been a long flight. Spinel landed in an Earth clan, and was welcomed in. He stayed awhile, watching them go about their days. He befriended a nice bogsneak, and they became friends. After a long time, his friend decided it was time to move along, and gifted Spinel some chestnut-colored feathers for his tail, to match the feathered skulls on his wings. They parted ways, and Spinel decided to leave, as well. |
