Appearance
Average height. He has put on a bit of weight around his middle. His left hand and forearm were amputated to several inches below the elbow. He has a mechanical prosthetic that he wears out. Outfit is shown on the dragon, with the inclusion of a number of bags and pouches.
Character
Though not shy or unfriendly, he tends to be reserved around strangers, only speaking when spoken to, or when the topic is one of his niche interests. When he does speak, he says precisely what he’s thinking with little regard for what’s appropriate, not picking up on most subtext. Others may have difficulty telling when he's being serious--since he doesn't emote much and tends to speak without inflection. Often, he's being genuine, and it’s misread as being ironic or sarcastic. A chronic insomniac--he’s up at all hours and will sleep practically anywhere when gripped with the urge to do so. He keeps multiple mini nests around his most common frequents to keep from getting woken up early.
History
At the urging of his hatchmother Sarah spent most of his younger years training as a doctor. He was an up-and-coming prodigal academically but found interacting with the bureaucratic side of medicine to be grating and struggled to conform to the expected standards. He dropped out of the profession rather suddenly after he began to have health issues from the stress, a compounding of not taking care of himself and pushing his own limits for too long. He spent some time with no real job, but picked up a position as a clerk in the hatchling’s section of the library recently. He enjoys helping them find books and games, and does storytime regularly. He dabbles in welding, woodworking, and music. He's spent a great deal of time in the gardens at the Shimmerspire, helping harvest the produce--as well as apprenticing at the insect hives. |
Big Bird: |
A small puppet of a strange bipedal yellow bird... It's got a port in the back that can plug into his prosthetic to be manipulated. He takes it everywhere with him, and will sometimes have it "talk" to people. He's getting better at throwing his voice. |

His brother. They have a close bond--even when they're clacking heads and throwing things at each other. On nights he can't sleep (most of them) he'll pay a visit to the bar to hang out. |
