"To what end do you keep
such a vigilant watch?"

Oft as still as a statue, he is commonly mistaken for one on the outside parapets. His shadow is typically along the upper spires of the Cathedral, where he waits, and where he watches.

Most times, his presence isn't noted until his faithful Firebug flitters up to him, leaving a faint luminescent glow easily spotted against the black stone.

 To what end Kabir keeps his faithful watch, none but he seems to know. He can be seen curled around one of the many black towers in his draconic form, staring outward as the sun rises... and around another as the sun sets, his eyes always turned outward. Some say his movements are so slow that the movement isn't detected by others at all, while yet others maintain he simply moves when no one is watching.

Whichever the case, his presence is an enigma to those dwelling within the Cathedral. While it is home to many curiosities and yet more whom hold their silence, there are scant few whom are so diligent and yet so quiet, with eyes always turned outward. A few have compared him to Kaylin, who roams far and wide in search for a long lost family, but Kabir does not ever leave.

To some, his story is a great deal sadder, though in what manner they have no guesses... only his expression, which tends to be one of resigned longing.
