regular person accidentally turned eldritch entity


  • setting: modern world populated by anthro dragons
  • used to be a regular university student or something (still is, kinda)
  • one day they found a black and red ruby ring (or other jewelry idk yet) and it turned them into an eldritch monstrosity basically??
  • they can shapeshift and create tentacles (regular ones or with a hand at the end)
  • (shapeshifting includes shifting into their Normal Looking Form or into an eldritch looking Body Horror mess of any shape basically)
  • insides are made of ruby so if u cut em ruby shards spill out
  • (dw they can regenerate)
  • has some kinda Berserk Mode TM
  • has a friend? who also got turned and has a berserk mode as well, but a different colored aesthetic (maybe green??)
  • Ruby is their favourite Gemstone and also what they named themselves after!
  • they got that ring (or other piece of jewelry idk) because there was a ruby in it, and now they are basicaly a living ruby,,
  • their opinion on this is basically "uhh thats a really weird thing to happen but at least my whole weird new aesthetic is themed after my favorite stone so thats pretty cool actually??"
  • some group or organisation is after them, and there is Fighting TM
  • theres at least one scene where their friend gets them out of their Berserker Mode with the power of love , trust and friendship (or ruby gets their friend out, idc which way i eat that stuff right up)
  • basically ruby is New to Being a Weird Eldritch Monster and has to learn how to handle all of this New Stuff, like suddenly being a mass of tentacles and gemstone
  • maybe their instincts and food preferences n such change too and they have to learnt to Live with That,
  • queue them calling their friend at 3am like "hEY I JUST HAD THE SUDDEN DESIRE TO EAT ALL THE RAW EGGS IN THE HOUSE AND I DID AND THEY TASTED GOOD?? WHATS GOING ON WILL I D*E OF E.COLI NOW. AAAAAAA" "Ruby. What The Heck"

  • -saw a cool rock and i got so hungy?? should i b worried
  • -ive been usng my tentacles 2 fetch stuff bc i didnt wanna get up but now theres black goop everywhere can i just throw that away? or put it back? is that safe??
  • -help dozens of eyes have materialized all across my body and im having a job interview in 20 minutes (i cant make them go away)
  • -i accidentally got holy water on me and it hurted :[

  • -i thought i saw a mouse and before i could even think about it i had already thrown myself onto the ground where i saw it with so many claws out and it turns out it was just a sock i dropped... anyways im stuck on the floor now bc i cant get my claws back out can please help me,
