Mathias

Mathias is the perfect example of a facade. While he is lauded with how handsome he is and showered with compliments, he hides a dastardly persona underneath his jeweled adornments. Well known as a sadist to those whom know him as more than a pretty face, he serves as a debt collection service for Ruby.

Workin to collect from those who often think they have the upper hand on him, Mathias takes delight in cuttin them down to size and force them back into their "rightful" lace. Threats and blackmail come easily, made even simpler by his Sense gem, he uses whatever means to collect debts from his clients.

He loves when they try and fight back; using any means they can think of; be it magical, verbal, or physical, and watching the hope and determination drain from their eyes as Mathias shuts them down with the same weapon turned against themselves instead. It's usually the only time you hear him laugh.

Despite his disgusting personality, Mathiad is flocked to by petitioning suitors, some literally thorwing themselves at him. They mainly succeed in annoying him, however, and Mathias is quite uninterested in their advances. He mainly bleeds them dry and leaves them to flounder, enjoying the chase more than the reward.

If they were stupid enough to fall in love with him, then he needs to be compensated for the waste of time and effort they caused.
