Hatched in the light of the full moon on a meaningful cosmic date and in the magic-soaked land of the Arcanist, Dukh was special from the very beginning. (Whether this was a curse or a blessing, no one knows.)

Dukh knew too much about the past events of her own clan, things she'd never been taught or seen for herself. As she grew, became clear that she would slip into visions of the past, especially on moonlit nights. It progressed to the point where Dukh would have difficulty differentiating between visions and life around her. Slowly, she retreated into her own mind and involved herself with ghosts of the past far more than the reality of the present.

It took her twin sister Soul and the tutelage of a sorceress in her former clan to draw her back to reality, and since then, she has made great strides in controlling her visions. The sorceress also taught her to constructively use her innate magic - Dukh does not do much with it other than keeping herself warm, thus vapor billows from her mouth. Though she doesn't wield Ice magic, Lepa has taken her under her wing and works with her to control and use her deep power.

Dukh is mute. She took great solace in the fact that there are others like her in Clan Zmaj. She and Tihomir get along swimmingly, even if the disconnect between Coatl sign language and greater Draconic sign language made it difficult at first, and while her and Stjepan are not close, they have a rapport.

She struggles with a great many tasks and has stuck to work she finds both simple and important - fishing. She is wicked with a trident and is an expert spearfisher. She and Rurik do the bulk of Clan Zmaj's fishing. Mateja values her for that, if not much else.
