The Guardian of the Strain

GYWENDELEN (gai-when-dell-en)
Carrying an incredible aura of confidence and strength, the second eldest of Tamose and Atari, with her father's stubbornness and determination, and her mother's strength and wit, Gywendelen is certainly quite a site to behold.

However, despite her lineage, she is actually not royalty...

When Gywndelen was a young hatchling, she was very vain and selfish, always bragging on about how she would make the best queen.

Until one day, when she found herself particularly annoyed with her siblings, Gywndelen suggested they play a little game of hide and seek in order to get them out of her hair, in the event that would lead Kiveri into having her accident.

Feeling responsible for Kiveri getting hurt, Gywendelen vowed that she would give her all to protect her family.

It was then when a Guardian by the name of Morrigan moved into the clan, and declared Gywendelen her charge. From Morrigan, Gywendelen's eyes were opened to a new way of life, one that would for sure let her protect her family and loved ones: The way of the Guardian.

Gywendelen completely denounced her royal status. No longer a Princess, she now declared herself the Captain of the Royal Guard, the Guardian of the clan. The clan is her charge. Any one or anything that attempts to hurt her clan or her family...Well, let's just say she gives them plenty of time to regret it.

She is so dedicated to her duties, that she even had her marriage band welded into her armor.

Despite her size, Gywendelen is not one who should be taken lightly, she has the heart and strength of a Guardian. There's even been rumors spread among the clan that she's taken down Emperors all on her own without even breaking a sweat. Many hatchlings gather around her and ask if the stories are really true.

She simply smirks and replies: "Maybe..."

COBALT (co-ball-t)
This Death's-Head Stag and Gywendelen have practically grown up together.

Whenever Gywendelen and her siblings would play in the Training Grounds, a young Cobalt would fight her for the nice spot on the tallest hill.

This little feud of theirs continued on into their teenage years, and eventually grew into a fun little rivalry.

Now a days, Cobalt fights along side Gywendelen, acting as a fellow comrade in battle, and occasionally a sparing partner every now and then.
