Vega

_{This lair is a semi-nomadic flock of dragons from all reaches of Sornieth. They have taken residence across the mountain flats, forests, and creeks of the Beltane Fjords ⁠— the top plateau of which is home their main camp.}

Vega is the local historian and pseudo-professor of the clan...that is, if you can catch him in between his frequent treks out to the distant forests, caves, and icy regions, searching for fossils and other artifacts left behind in the shadows. He has amassed quite a collection of local treasures to show off in his gallery at home, and will happily take anyone who asks on a long, long...long...journey through his notebooks, drawings, and memories.

He often takes Marling on his travels as an assistant to write notes and clean collected items. Very few dragons have permission to touch any of Vega's equipment, but the two get along quite well. Neither are too talkative except for the important things; Vega is even a bit stern and abrasive to most, unless he gets to gush about an adventure.

Luth the Glitterfreeze Ambassador is Vega's closest companion. They met when Vega trekked his way up to a Longneck camp on a mountain, seeking to study an ancient cave puzzle on their land. Luth grew concerned as Vega stopped coming out of the cave for nightly meals, and eventually convinced Vega that he could help solve it with some family artifacts. They grew quite close, and share a fondness for exploring and problem-solving together...but it also doesn't hurt that Luth knows every Icefield path like his own fur.
