Midwinter usually has a kind and polite disposition. He is somewhat different from the other dragons, as he admires the aurora greatly. Not to say that the others don't, but he finds that the beauty of the shimmering colors inspires him to find beauty in most other things. Including dragons. Because of this, he is a very good judge of character, since he can see both the flaws and the beauty in others. Midwinter doesn't like to fight unless he has to, a bit of a gentledragon. He likes to see the dragons around him getting along, though his lair mates find him a bit mysterious. Midwinter usually spends his time painting on paper or carving designs on rocks. He loves art because it takes in beauty, captures it, and preserves it for all to see. He always watches the landscape for those little things that nobody notices-the lonely song of the wind, the silhouette of a wolf howling, a perfect shard of clear ice. Midwinter is one of the few spell castors in his clan, specializing in the magic of water and ice. When he fights, he rains razor-sharp ice crystals down onto his foes.
