- the shadowbinder refused to give their children life due to the fact they may have been imperials
- until jorg traded 20 years of service for a son
- terminus was finally the prize for doing everything she was supposed to be doing - a reward for following the path laid out for her
- and he was pushed to the standard of the shadow court as well
- but he walked away
- in the middle of the night he turned on his heel and walked away from the forum, into the gloom
