The Earthen Trainer is famed throughout Sornieth as an extremely effective combat trainer. Born in a distant land under the Earthshaker, Dragonhome, Terra eventually made her way to the Sunbeam Ruins, where she was trained to carry younglings through the Mire, until they could answer the call of the deities for the war against the Shade. She made her way to the 6 Crests during its earliest days, when it was not the collection of the powerful. Here, she was nurtured by the Academy, until she happened to drink some water tainted with the Plaga Magnus and started to turn into a Vampiria, one favoured by the Mother. During this painful transformation, she was taken under the wings of a sympathetic Wrath Incarnate. Despite her new condition, she managed to remain the caring trainer that she once was. The only changes those around her noticed were the new telepathy and hypnosis ability, something she now uses to allow those under her care to more effectively reach their potential, and the need to drink blood. The latter is not even an inconvenience when compared to some others in the second generation.

During the earlier period of time, after her conversion to a vampiria, Terra had gone out to the wasteland in an effort to find fresh carcasses, having yet to accept that death was a new part of her existence. Just as she had finished her meal of only blood from the body, she found a rather young cub. Giving in to her kindness, she decided to hand over the carcass to the cub, who enjoyed the meal with relish. A similar thing occurred the following day, and the day after, the day after that so on and so forth. Soon enough Bite, the cub as named by Terra, had grown enough to hunt his own meals. Terra saw her leave, and assumed that that would be the last she ever saw of her. But that evening, Bite returned with her first prey, scratched up and injured, and displayed it to Terra. It was for her to drink from her hunt. Hence, began the tradition between the dragon and familiar of sharing their hunts with one another.
