Tylin

@Alchemilla: It was really hard to choose because you have so many spooky (and gorgeous) dragons on your lair. However I think the skin really finishes the look with Tylin. I also like the backstory.

Tylin leaves a small path of decay wherever she walks. It'd be advised to keep her away from plants or grass; she'll make them instantly rot and decay. Dragons of the Nature Flight get a chill whenever they catch sight of her. She is a force to be reckoned with, and she has ties to the Plaguebringer..

They say that even amongst themselves, Mirrors can tend to be exceptionally nasty. Aggressive, violent, quick to snap; the mirrors are a race born from plague, raised by disease, children of death. They know but one rule: survive at all costs. this is primordial in their brains, an instinct that even the calmest, sweetest mirror holds deep inside.
And, as it turns out, these currently fighting individuals were no different.
They recall having met on neutral grounds- a travelling mirror was more and more common to see these days- and under the unsaid promise of 'i will not harm you, for we are both of the same species', they two had simply ignored each other for the time of their encounter. But, as fate may have it, the mirrors saw each other more and more, completely by accident, and it was irritating them, for they did not understand why. The breaking point came when both mirrors, starved and annoyed by the lack of a good hunt that week, had encountered a carcass on their scavanges. Without a thought, they both sprung into action, their minds on the food, and planning on taking the whole body and making their escape with it as soon as they touched it. But alas, they ended up clashing instead, which, in turn, caused both already on-edge dragons to jump back from each other, hissing and screeching in anger and trying to intimidate the other.

The female, known as Tylin, was very aware of the male's sharp horns. she was also extremely aware of the osseous 'armor' that seemed to cover his whole body and, if it weren't for her current anger and hunger, she would've liked to admire it a bit more. Such gifts were surely directly given to him by their PlagueMother, and if that was the case, then Tylin was exceptionally interested in him, given her own ties to the Deity of Plague. Unfortunately, she did not have time to admire his gifts for long, as she soon had to dodge a powerful claw swipe aimed at her face. Tylin jumped back, wings flared, fangs bared, and it seemed to momentarily catch the male off guard, for her tattered appearance was certainly not the marks of a weak specimen, but one that has lived through all too much.

"Back off from the kill", she hissed, their plague-red eyes interlocked. "Back off, and i won't break those prized horns of yours straight off your skull"
The male snarled, but did not lunge. She was thankful for this. But- in this temporary instance of silence, she dared speak up instead of taking the carcass. Her eyes narrowed in thought.
"We keep on encountering each other. Why is this so?"
"If only i knew the answer...", the male shook his head in mild frustration, and the sound of his voice made Tylin's fins tense up ever so slightly, showing she was attentive.

Silence lasted for far too long after this. Both mirrors standing on opposite ends of the carcass, just out of attacks' reach, should one happen. None did, fortunately, but just in case, they did not move yet.
That is, until tylin broke the silence once more, letting out a deep sigh and folding up her wings, showing a much more relaxed stance.
"We should fight no more. There is no purpose to it- the kill is large, we could both feed"
".... It seems you are correct"
Tylin nodded, and both mirrors approached one another in silence. They ate, jaws ripping through flesh like the sharpest of knives. Once the meat was gone, and all but a few bones remained, the dragons looked at each other again.

"You've got exceptionally sharp horns, Mirror. If i had been impaled, i would surely have died"
"I cannot say the same for you, as you have none such as myself. But i must admit, i have not yet met a Mirror that was capable of lasting so long against me"
Although outwardly tense and awkward, after they had eaten, the dragons had clearly gotten into a better mood. And now, as they began to talk, it turned out that they both had a lot of things in common, as well as the odd link that made them constantly bump into each other.
As the sun began to set, both mirrors still talked, for the night was not a threat to them. They decided that they'd get to the bottom of this mysterious coincidental mystery, together, and adding that, from then on, they will only meet up at this same spot once their stomachs were full.
They didn't fancy fighting over scraps again like starving dogs, and, truth be told, they had gotten quite used to each others' presence. It was nice to talk to a fellow Mirror every so often...
