Biography

Syon is a thief turned to the good side, slow to trust but quite loyal eventually. Loyal to people, that is; he is not as loyal to ideologies and goals, and will definitely choose friends over the 'greater good'. He has unusually strong pyrokinetic powers that he is working to master.

So I guess I'll just lore dump here:

Syon grew up in a miner's clan near the Great Furnace but was pretty bad at mining to be perfectly honest, most likely due to his short stature. Which was fine, as Syon spent his childhood being a messenger in the mineshafts, small and quick, efficiently passing along communications.
But since the Forgeworks closed, like literally everyone else, he was out of a job.
He joined Por's Rebellion but wasn't too invested in it unlike most other dragons. It was another source of work.
During the strike, he did his normal job, communications, but he also had another duty: Thievery and spying.
The rebellion did need food, armour and supplies, and Syon acted as to scout out these areas to let the other, bulkier dragons in.
But his specialty was sneaking into important places and stealing information, whether overheard or through documents.
However, he went a bit too far one day, wandering where he really should not have and somehow became blessed/cursed by the Flamecaller (or, he assumes it was the Flamecaller), resulting in the amplification of his natural pyrokinetic abilities to a level near impossible to control.
And yes, he accidentally torches somewhere pretty important in a way that wouldn't go unnoticed.
Scared and confused (remember that Syon is still pretty much a kid) he runs off, and tries to forget about that traumatic experience.
He just leaves the Ashfall altogether. It wasn't very nice to him. So he uses his skills in being unnoticed and steals to survive, travelling to large cities in order to blend in.
And then he steals from the newly-born Guild Eleven.

Exalting Syon to the service of the Gladekeeper will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind a small sum of riches that they have accumulated. This action is irreversible.
