Mello

Uh-oh, looks like this friendly omen wandered a little too far from her home lair (grxndsxn, 437722), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here, or to the hub if you don't want another dragon in return. Please refrain from exalting her!

Mello would like to receive a permanent home someday, so if you'd like to adopt her after she's been traveling long enough, just let her owner know! You can also send her back to the exalt rescue at the bottom of her bio.

Despite Mello's frightening appearance, she means well. She aims to bring peace and tranquility to any clan she comes across.

Mello is also a harbinger, often warning against what is to come. If she arrives in your clan, your best course of action is to ask her what may come.. but don't always expect a straight answer.
Originally from the Icy continent furthest south, they had two objectives over the next few months. One study the crescent and discover if there is anything to learn from the ancient structure and two, to search for any lingering shade creatures hiding here. Any discovered would be captured and carried to the Warden’s prison. The clan was apprehensive at first about Mello’s arrival. She was the first traveler to visit since they moved here. After some getting to know each other they warmed up to her. She warned them though to be cautious in what they seek death will be nipping at their heels. Troubled by this The clan’s Leader, Xanaver met with her, Speaking to her with his mind telepathically, since he did not speak with his voice. There was something dangerous they were going to discover, but at least now they were a little more prepared for any surprises.


After her brief stay, she roamed the Shadowlands a little longer. She eventually came across a small clan. Typically whenever she comes across a new clan she gets a feeling of what is to come - but oddly, she felt nothing. Part of her wanted to figure out why, but at the same time, maybe this was good? Maybe nothing bad was going to happen to these unknowing dragons.


She continued on her way.



Mavenlark was stimulation overload incarnate. So many dragons packed under one roof, and so much tragedy that had brought them there. It was more than she could hope to bear. She left without giving a single warning to those about to befall even more tragic circumstances.


When Mello arrived at the border of the Sunbeam Ruins and the Shifting Expanse, she found a bustling city nestled between the stone outcroppings. Something in her told her she had business to do there, so she made her way delicately down to the border. After settling into her rooms at the kind healer Vanilla's inn, she set out to dragon watch, hoping that the subject of her premonition would come upon her by accident. There was a great deal of sensory input here as well, so Mello hoped she could depart from Saibhreas soon. After two days, a distinctive imperial female bumped into her, and Mello finally had the chance to deliver her message. With that done, she packed up and headed out.
