Personality: Aelius is a loyal drake, he values loyalty in those around him and does not tolerate betrayals. Aelius, like all summer fae, is vain and enjoys being complimented and praised. he is proud and is very unlikely to back down unless given no choice, although even then he always hesitates to back down or retreat. as time has passed he has become more patient, calculating and cruel when need be although he dislikes showing cruelty if he can avoid it, preferring to show a genteel and proper countenance much like that expected of royalty or an upper class drake.
He is intelligent and enjoys being challenged, he is slow to anger yet when properly enraged he can be quite frightening. he prefers humiliating those who draw his ire, laying curses that will bring more suffering then a simple if brutish beating, although he has no problem with the more straight forward methods. he enjoys using words to confuse and frustrate his opponents into making sloppy mistakes, he finds arguments much more amusing this way.

Background: The son of the King and Queen of the Summer court, he knew who he was and his worth growing up and had no troubles throwing his weight around while playing with other younglings. his ego was vast and his talents many, yet he was arrogant and had no compassion for those around him, believing himself below only his parents and only because he had seen what they could do to those fool hardy enough to challenge them.
Eventually he grew into a young adolescent and went out on his own into the realm of dragons to test his skill and maybe earn something of a name for himself. he found challenges and faced them head on, wars, battles, skirmishes, and petty fights all blended together as he earned coin and spent time in taverns, which usually lead to an amusing time; he met several drakes, threw in with them as they traveled and became friends with them.

Years with the mercenaries gave him his own renown and brought his own fame or infamy, they were successful and hired by many. Aelius was content even knowing that what he did in the realm of dragons would not always impress the courts due to it pitting him against mortal dragons who were less skilled and talented than the faeries. soon enough dragons and clans began whispering and planning, but Aelius paid little attention thinking himself above the dragons of the clan and listening only to the leader of their small group as the older wildclaw had earned his respect.
Aelius was happy and enjoyed working and improving skills as well as the gossip he often heard when in the clans they worked for. gossip often made it's way back to him from his companions and he traded his own information gathered through his own chatter with dragons from the town and clans.
