Biography

Shy and quiet, Lui-fa didn't like the flourishing clan he was born into. They were always so busy and loud. This left him forgotten, nigh invisible amongst the much larger dragons. He didn't have the will to speak up, nor did he desire the attention it would bring. His sister shone under the attention and he let her have it all, instead opting to sneak off into the dense jungle.
As he grew, his forays delved ever deeper into the verdant lands. On one such long flight, he stumbled into the most incredible tree. It wasn't so large, in fact it was just the right size for a slender hatchling. Thick, cushy moss coated the entirety of its exterior, flowing into the small knot-holes that spotted the length of the trunk sporadically.
He fluttered closer and landed, letting his claws sink into the dense mat of bright green moss. Its delicate fronds tickled his feet just a little, much to his delight.
He shoved his head into a hole, looking around as his big eyes adjusted. It smelled dank, and the wood was beginning to rot away slowly. He knew that with a little effort, he could make this into the most marvelous home. It was in his nature to tunnel and create space where there was none, even within a living tree.
So, he set to work with gusto. With infrequent trips back to the clans lair, he privately worked on creating his own little haven. Eventually, he stopped returning at all. There was plenty of food around his precious tree; insects loved the shade and moisture. The moss made the best nest within his hollowed trunk, making wonderful padding against the hard wood that still lived. Gone was the dank rotted wood; the tree itself almost seemed happier with the blight removed. He was dependant on his tree alone, free from all clan bonds.

When his tree finally fell to the encroaching blight entirely, he knew he had to go. However, he had become one with the strange lands that now surrounded his precious little mossy tree. Something, or someone, had brought illness to the land, blighting it irreparably. He didn't entirely mind though. There had to be other peaceful places for him to live, so off he went in search of them.
When he finally reached the lands of the Plague Bringer, he knew he had found his new home. Despite the very same sickness plaguing these lands, trees still grew. Sure they were twisted, but he was a flexible little fellow. Yes, here he would find a clan that suited him perfectly, and maybe, just maybe, they would have a spare mossy tree for him to make his own once again.
