One day a desperate dragon sought him out, knowing he was the finest in Sornieth. Plague soldiers had kidnapped his daughter from her fire clan and were forcing her to fight the war. They had already taken two of her daughters, the third returning with her grandfather to warn An of the enemies he'd face. Her grandfather begged Andrick to help find his daughter. This would require a team, a team Andrick didn't have.
So he searched the yellow pages until he found two dragons looking to become soldiers, a soon to be father Obelisk with four eggs on the nest named Wind Star, and a mateless Mirror named . Neither had any remote experience in even welding a shield, to Andrick's disdain. But he knew what he had to do in order to bring the young mother home to her father and only surviving daughter.
