"I just... want to be normal...!"
A "miracle" Wildclaw born from a nest of Fae eggs, Fidget is incredibly self conscious for a number of reasons - mainly the attention she seems to draw. It was one thing being larger than her siblings, leading to her habit of hunching over and keeping her head low... but it was another thing entirely to deal with the uneasy mutterings of strange Fae who would stop by every so often. She could never quite catch what they were saying since they kept their distance, but she could tell that they spoke about her with a strange reverence. "Breaking the system" and "existing outside of logic," she would hear them say. Sure, Fidget knew her hatching was a rarity, but she didn't think it was a topic worth talking about long after she had matured into an adult. She only began to worry once she heard one utter the words "cursed bloodline." Concerned, Fidget asked a few acquaintances about the purpose of these ominous visitors... only for them to have no idea what she was talking about. "Nobody has seen any dragons like that around," they told her. Fidget insisted they were there - they'd been appearing ever since she could fend for herself! Disturbed at what this could mean, the Wildclaw quickly left home and began to wander the world. But everywhere she went - no matter where she retreated or hid herself - the revelers would always appear. (WIP) (WIP Notes: She's terrified of what this means and desperately tries to blend in with normal dragons/clans. Wants to ask for help but lowkey highkey afraid she'll be shunned for sounding crazy. Starts to panic more when her powers manifest ever so slightly but I need to figure out what sort of power that might be) |
