Mama

Once upon a time, Mama was lost. She did not know who or where she was; every smell was new to her. After meeting Papa and founding the clan, she became determined that she would never truly lose her memories or her name again.

She began to write the events and details of her daily life down, first on scraps of paper and later on intact scrolls scavenged from old ruins. She is a true bibliophile: there is almost nothing that happens in her life that she doesn’t write down. She is the clan’s unofficial historian and archivist. Her histories, although somewhat meandering by nature, are fastidiously detailed.

Mama is much more involved with the day-to-day happenings of the clan. Because of her records, she is the best-suited member of the clan to manage the coming and goings of hatchlings and new members, gathering and food stores, and representing the clan at the trading post. She also serves as the clan’s representative to the Arcanist, encouraging faithful members to devote themselves to his service and applying for more space as the clan continues to grow.

Despite not having much room in her life for hobbies, Mama faithfully charts the stars with Papa in the evening. She finds peace and solace in their personal constellations that she cannot always find in her records.
