Papa

Papa does not remember his own parents or where he came from; even their scents have escaped him. His earliest memories are of flying aimlessly, without purpose or a name, as an adult between the spires of the Crystalspine Reaches. When night fell and he grew too weary to fly, Papa descended upon a small cliff-side cave where he thought he could rest.

It was there, in the dark of the night, where he discovered the two great loves of his life: stargazing and his mate, another lost Tundra who had no home or name to call her own. Together, they sketched out a star chart in the dust in the pink sand of the spires and created their own personal compendium of constellations. By morning, a gentle breeze had blown their map of the galaxy away… and they had founded their clan, devoting themselves to the distant Arcanist. The named themselves “Papa” and “Mama” in the hopes of giving birth to a large, prosperous family.

Papa is gentle and easy-going by nature who, despite his poor short-term and long-term memory, lives a life of quiet dignity. He spends much of his time in quiet contemplation, sketching out the stars or studying arcane magic. He enjoys playing simple games of Runestones with the hatchlings and watching over them as they play. He serves as a mage in the entourage of dragons that represent the clan in the Coliseum, although he does not truly enjoy the thrill of the battle.

Every evening, Papa takes to the highest point of the roost to gaze upon the stars and create constellations with his beloved mate.
