Often referred to as 'BE' (bee-ee) or 'Ember'
He has a gift for flying, likely due to his Wind origins, and he occasionally gives lessons to fledgling hatchlings for fun.
He and Isabeau are one of the most fundamental pairs in the clan.
While BloodEmbers would rather peace and quiet, his amiable Wind nature allows him to get along with virtually every dragon in the clan.
His necklace is a magical signalling beacon, allowing his mate to find him at any time, and vice versa.

Like many skydancers in the clan, BloodEmbers chooses to spend most of his time away from home, scouting out new areas. He is the leader of the Skydancer Scouts, which is partially due to his exceptional planning and partially due to the fact that he was the one who suggested an organised scout group to the then-young matriarch. He and Ichiko get along well, and the two have the type of bond that only two quiet souls can share.

His fashion sense made him the original 'Steampunk Skydancer', and over time many in the clan copied his ways. His mechanical appendages are athletic enhancers, and they help him to run and fly for longer than a normal dragon.

BloodEmbers also occasionally works with YamiKuraun and her advisors when the clan is planning their next move, lending his quietly brilliant brain to the cause and often startling everyone with his spot-on conclusions.

The story of how Ember found his mate, Isabeau, is a surprisingly romantic one for such a work-oriented dragon. He met her when she was on her way to study diplomacy in the Viridian Labyrinth, and over time he fell deeply in love with her. After a few months of travelling with the clan him they had to part ways, but promised to come back and give him a chance to win her over once she had completed her education. She gave him a magical beacon to wear in the form of a necklace so that she could find him again, and the two set off on their different ways: him to the west, and she to the east. He settled in a nomadic Plague clan and waited, always wearing the pulsing necklace that let him feel her from so far away. It took two years for her to complete her schooling, and despite encountering other potential mates Ember still opted to wait for her. He took up a job as a scout and began searching, first the Wandering Contagion, and then the Abiding Boneyard, looking for any sign of her. Finally, she returned, and he instantly invited her to join the clan. She had a fairly serious suitor in the wings, and she initially despised the Plaguelands, so it took a long while for him to persuade her to stay. She almost left at more than one point, but something always held her back. The pulsing necklace still hung around her neck, and she could not bring herself to remove it. The clan's matriarch saw what was happening and, after a few weeks, offered Isabeau the position of inter-class ambassador. It was tempting, and Isabeau fell into a friendship with the matriarch, eventually deciding that this place - a place of kindness and life in amongst so much death - was where she would stay. Isabeau agreed to be Ember's mate and took up permanent residence in the clan, where she has happily remained ever since. The two are quite the power couple, and their necklaces still pulse quietly around their necks, now a symbol of their eternal devotion to one another. Together they decimate any task that they set their minds to, and the clan is always better off with their efforts.
