Fluffy

In the beginning, there was Fluffy.

Fluffy sat alone within an empty universe. There was no Sornieth, solar system, not even the Shade. There was only Fluffy.

Then, with a flash of light from her fingers, there was life. Four lesser beings, made of Earth, Fire, Water, and Wind respectively. Fluffy created a planet for them to live on, a sun to sustain their life, and a steady supply of magical energy. She left the four to their own devices, hoping they would coexist in peace.

Fluffy entered a deep slumber at the very center of Sornieth. Unaware of the gods warring above, she slept peacefully. Even whilst the world was being torn apart, she did not have the power to stop them.

The divine war raged on. What finally awoke the great Fluffy was when the Earthshaker smashed his front leg into the land, wobbling the planet itself. Fluffy gazed upon the destruction her children had caused. There was not a single tract of land untouched by their brutish fighting. Fluffy knew this could not continue. With great disappointment, she sent a deadly darkness upon the land. This force, later known as The Shade, would forever be a constant threat for Sornieth. Fluffy hoped that with the very planet itself now trying to kill them, her children would settle their differences and work together.

Throughout the Second and Third ages, Fluffy remained within the center of the world. She silently worked to influence the development of dragon society, making sure the Shade did not grow too powerful.

Toward the end of the Third Age, Fluffy decided her children, now numbering in the millions, were finally ready. Her mysterious plan lasting millennia was finally coming to an end. She slowly began to increase the amount of magic flowing through Sornieth. Strange occurrences became more and more common. As each flight thought of ways to exploit this newly abundant magic, Fluffy rose from the ground for the first time in thousands of years.

What arose from the ground was not the magnificent figure that Fluffy had inhabited for millennia, but rather a tiny egg. Fluffy's original body had become so entangled with the planet that she could no longer move without destroying it. Therefore, she transferred all her power to this egg.

The egg surfaced in the Ashfall Waste, near the clan of Levona. Immediately, the dragons of this clan knew this egg was special. There was no known breed of dragon able to produce such an egg.

Word got around about this strange egg, eventually reaching the Flamecaller herself. Though no one knew why, she demanded to have this mysterious egg, so it could hatch on top of the Great Furnace. Perhaps if this being was of the Fire element, that would secure her element's dominance over Sornieth.

For years this egg was incubated within the Great Furnace. Finally, on the first day of Flameforger's, it hatched.

When Fluffy was reborn, spring turned to summer, iron into gold, and dragons all over Sornieth were struck with a vision of the times to come. This newly hatched being took the form of a tiny nocturne dragon. Indeed, other than the overwhelming power she radiated, Fluffy looked rather normal. This was intentional, as her true form was so magnificent that it would vaporize lesser beings on sight. Only minutes after hatching, with a bit of breath she formed a giant comet, leaving the Great Furnace behind. She had much to do in these coming years.

Fluffy began gathering followers. Most of which are in the Ashfall Waste, though her movement is open to any element. She speaks of a coming apocalypse where the Shade is destined to destroy all nonbelievers, propelling Sornieth into a golden age for the rest of time.


On November 6th, 2019, Fluffy made an appearance on the front page, confirming her divinity to all of Sornieth.
