You are a Witch. That is what they call you. You guess that that's fair.

Personally, you prefer to view yourself as what you are: A dragon of shadows. A trickster, a game keep, and above all, a winner. The Gods know that are are quite the winner. Through years in and out you have weaved your way through game after game, trial and trick over and over until you can truthfully call yourself the best in the twisting wood.

Yet, there was one Dragon. She was from the light flight, someone who had come to visit the clan you had begun to run with. And she won against you. And the gods watched as you fell for her, deeply.

But then it happened. There was a flood in the drag. The waters pulled her down into the deep mud before you had a chance to even try and help her. You watched as she was forced into a slow, painful death, and yet you could do nothing. The days passed, and you were left alone. Stuck. You pulled yourself from your clan, and you focused. You had much to learn and you had no time to learn it.

After all, life is just a game, and you will win it too. How hard can raising the dead truthfully be?

Bio

Kalira is a dragon who has been practicing magic since she was a young hatchling. She normally used her talent to play tricks and win games, like as it's expected for Shadow Dragons. However, after joining Crawl's clan and later meeting Bica, her mate, she began to focus her work on other things, like helping around the clan and with familiars. But one day, while Bica and Kalira are out in Driftwood Drag to collect food for the clan, a flash flood hits and drags Bica under. Kalira is horrified by this event. Of course she is, her closest family was dead. So, she returned to magic. Necromancy was a painful form of magic to learn, but she didn't have much of a choice in it.
