17th born daughter of the 2nd born Nanna, beloved daughter of Ragnar and Lorelei, her egg hatched in a surge of darkness that enveloped the egg and drew it down into a pool of inky nothingness. At first, her parents were concerned (or would they be? need to ping the owner for lore collab), until the hatchling's face emerged from the puddle and trilled a soft whispery greeting. Crawling out, she murmured her hunger in soft huffs. As the puddle of darkness released her body from it's clinging tendrils, other eyes along her body began to open. They blinked sleepily and stared in every-other direction until the hatchling's attention focused on her mother. Then all the eyes focused on the hatchling's mother. (interaction with parents place holder) ---- A priestess of Shadow arrived and trilled a soft greeting to the young dragon. Named Ophelia, she offered to teach the young one the ways of the Shadowbinder. The priestess also told Nanna and Shade of a ship in the waters near the edge of Nature's domain. Other children of the Dirge made their home upon it. This is where she would take the hatchling, to be raised among her kin.
