Abilene

Abilene had been to many corners of the world, never staying in one place for long. She told everyone that she was a simple adventurer, travelling for the sake of travel. But in reality, she travelled because she could never find any real purpose. She consider exaltation many times, but she could never commit to it, always telling herself that she would find a home somewhere. And for once, she was right. The Scarred Wastelands were considered a dangerous place, somewhere only those who had a death wish, were insane, or were desperate went. She didn't know what category she fell into, but the Scarred Wastelands were her last shot at a life with purpose. She extended her wings and shot into the air, searching for a place to reside.

Soon, large walls caught her eye, and she flew closer, inspecting the clan. She noticed guards pointing at her, and soon a large Mirror came flying towards her.

"What brings you here?" he asked. Abilene noted that several guards were watching in anticipation below.

"I'm a traveler," she answered. "I was searching the Scarred Wastelands for a new home." Would he believe her? And would allow her in?

The Mirror's expression changed drastically. "Well, not many dragons can make it all the way here. My name is Cyperus, I'm the king of this clan. Perhaps we can discuss getting you moved in here?"

Abilene smiled, "Yeah, I'd like that."
