One could call Oscura a bit of a gentle giant. Despite her fearsome appearance and odd fashion choices, she’s rather soft-spoken and always willing to assist lost travelers wandering through her stretch of woods and point them in the right direction: away from Morcsbury. As the sole guard of the forest surrounding the cursed hill at the moment, her job is to turn away the ignorant and lead the aware by any means she sees fit. However, she prefers simple conversation and redirection over force, a choice criticized by other residents of the hill.

It’s a lonely existence in the woods, but one she's comfortable with. In the old days, she used to lead strangers to the edge of her section of forest, listening to their tales, but since she's found a child to care for, she’s more likely to simply point them in the right direction and follow them through the dark, unseen.
