Holostars float across the walls and ceiling, Orion's eyes tracking each one. Her mind is swirling with the equations presented to her earlier this afternoon, the prediction of a special meteorite, and the implications of this starfall. With two strong beats of her wings, Orion ascends into the glow, tracking the star in particular she's interested in - a star with no fixed point in the heavens, a star filled with portent and potential.

She wants that star.

It would be so easy to ignore what the others are whispering about. They're beginning to falter, they're losing the vision that has bound them all together for so long, and Orion knows that her decision now will alter the course of her research group irrevocably. For a moment, she floats among the stars, heart full of yearning for what she has never seen for herself - and then she lands on her favorite perch, folding her wings tight along her body.

It's not a setback, to deviate from the path she wants to tread, if it means being able to stay the course in the long-term. Right?

Orion switches off the projector with a frustrated gesture, and chirps out for her companions. If they wish to save the Druids from a rather inevitable doom - well, they'll need to act with immediacy, won't they?
