The dead do not talk. They simply can't, they're dead. They don't have voices anymore. Invect hates that about himself. When he was living, all he did was talk. He woke up talking, talked all day, and then talked in his sleep at night. But then he died, got trapped in a barren cave in the Wasteland and withered away.

Frustrated that he could no longer talk, he experiences intense moments of anger. He does not remember these moments, merely wakes up after they've occurred and sees the damage he has left behind. He is not disturbed by the aftermath, only upset that he has come back to himself still unable to talk.

A few dragons attempt to communicate with him, and these dragons help keep him mostly calm for random periods of time. He can't talk, but he enjoys the effort of them attempting to appease him. Still, he is more often angry and taking it out on the dragons of this lair.

Because he perpetually focuses on what he no longer has, he does not really remember anything about his life before. The details have grown hazy and slipped away, though occasionally something almost sparks a memory. These mostly cause him confusion, and sometimes they trigger his anger because he cannot talk about them to anyone.
