her name is in a special tongue only spoken by the denizens of the SkyWings clan! :D In this certain language, her name means..
Gildareen = gilded/feminine form of golden
Payten = patience
thus..

Backstory/Inspo:
Give a shout-out to Cascade's/my special somepony who helped me come up with the idea for her name! :D

Nickname:
For short, she goes by Payten as the second half of her name, though she does love the Gildareen part, too :) but she can't do Gilda or anything of that sort since that's already taken with GildedShadow, and Cascade is a big stickler for being original and not doing things that have been done again, she believes in dragons having unique names with no confusion or that they have to fight for to have :)

(talk about meeting dragons here & making bonds/connections/friendships/etc :D [to include in this section: something about how she became good friends with a healthy relationship with the Skydancer G'Roden (Galadrian) and he gave her his Kilt as a way to signify their friendship & that's why she wears it now] )
(write about how she met her partner & Cascade had her eye on her for awhile & was hoping to get her for one of her Imperial guys and almost gave up since it didn't look like the clan she was in was very active & going to become active any time soon, but when the returning player got back to Cascade asking if she'd like to have her still, Cascade jumped at the chance and said of course and thus the arrangements were made and (name) joined the clan to meet who Cascade thought she would be perfect for ^^) talk about how it was rocky at first because Cascade had already paired him up with another so they were already trying to form a relationship and (name) didn't want to feel like she was getting in the way of them/that but when Cascade told the guy this was the Imperial she'd had in mind for him, it set into motion things in his mind & he decided not to let the opportunity pass him by & thus put a pause on his current relationship and decided to pursue this one to see where it would go and if Cascade was right in picking out this Imperial for him, telling his previous mate if it didn't work out he'd come back to her.. but if it did, that she'd have to accept that and try to move on as well...... spoiler alert: it did work out :D through working things out & getting to know each other, the Imperials just fell for each other more & more, and his previous partner was upset at first but learned to be happy for them over time & bowed out respectfully, learning to give them their space and not keep waiting in the wings anymore and perhaps live her own life & discover a passion for herself as well.. write out rest of their relationship & journey as it progressed too :D ^^) )
